Tile - Find lost keys & phone App Reviews

First of all I waited a year. Now they arrived, but... 1) The signal only works like 10m indoor and is that slow that you have to wait like 30secs before you get a signal. At this time it is already to late because you already walked out of range again and never realize that you just passed the tile. 2) On the map I can see where my tile is within an area of like 1 kilometer. Its not a matter of a bad GPS signal, because in Whatsapp I get a 10m range GSP within secs. 3) There is no possibility to get a notification when you left the signal, so youll not get notified when you leave your tile somewhere. 4) You cant find your phone by pressing the e on a tile by you phone playing a sound as it works with TrackR. 5) You can only connect one device at a time with a tile. The problem is that the tile is connected with the device which connects first, so if you wanna find a tile you first have to find the device which connected first if there are more then one in the tile range. Would be much better if you would kick other connections when connecting or could cancel with a click or something... To sum it up: Im really disappointed - will try TrackR if its better... ps: why give 5stars bc you just received the tile you waited for for ages and not even tried out...?

As promising as the solution seems to be - I wont buy electronic devices that last only for one year and then have to be thrown away. Its not only about the returning yearly invest, its also about the environment. This aspect makes Tile totally undesirable for me.

I ordered and paid my Tiles on October 3, 2013. On October 18, 2014, I got a shipping notification and was happy about that. Unfortunately I didnt receive any Tiles so far. Either the product has been never shipped to me or something must have gone wrong totally. All my inquiries are still unanswered by the support team. I would therefore highly recommend everybody to look for alternatives and to avoid any businees with this dubious company.

I ordered my tiles more than 1.5 years ago and received a mail that they shipped out more than 3 months ago. They never arrive, i contacted the customer support who replied with a standardized message which said that they were on the way and got shipped like 1 month ago. As i replied that they did not arrive though i receives the exact same mail again, and this process got repeated for a 3rd time. Still, they never arrived and prbly never will. They could have saved the money for their ridiculous customer support team and instead try to afford envelopes with which to send their products out. Leave your hands off!

not perfect for all thing!

I ordered the Tile in August 2013 and haven’t got it up to now. Big promises - no result. If you want to throw your money away: send it to The Tile App !!! 0 Stars

Money stolen

So heres my Review: the reward for participating in the crowdfunding by pre-ordering and pre-paying was to never receive any product at all by now. Obviously this happened to hundreds of people especially in Canada, Italy and Germany. Tile kept blaming the local mail services while in reality their mail was obviously held back by the customs authorities - as they were sent illegally by standard mail without payment of customs + Import VAT. And now, instead of handling this properly, Tile announced that they stop delivering to these countries. This incredibly unprofessional behaviour leaves me with the choice to either fight to get a product that will ultimately be useless as the a critical number of users in my country will never be reached. Or to fight for a refund.

12.Oct.2014: waiting forever? for my preordered tiles. No support for customers, NO email-answers. 02.Jan.2015: No answer, simply fraud.

i´m very angry, because my four ordered tiles are still not here. they should delivered in september 14 but i still didn´t received any of them here in Germany :(

The only problem is that the battery goes faster empty with Bluetooth

They fail to mention that it only works when the tile is in a 100 feet radius and that the battery inside of it only lasts a year! And theres no way to replace the battery. Meaning youll be forced to pay 25 dollars again for a new tile.

I tried to set mine up... Verify email then says it sending me another email with a code which never happened but I have a fickle as of emails all saying my address was verified wtf ?

My dad gets angry all the time when he cant Find the keys to the car tile really hleps With finding them the only problem is my dad cant hear them so I have to find them so when you mace the tile can you make them louder

Tile works like any Bluetooth device - 10 m range (up to 30 in ideal conditions) - your phone keeps track of when it last "saw" the tile - and records that location. The battery will last up to two years if you keep it in normal environments. And tile offers a replacement programme where you pay less than half if you replace on schedule. The new ones even allow you to use the tile to find your phone (if its within range). And each tile is uniquely keyed so if someone finds your stuff and contacts tile, they will help you get your stuff back.

The tile is great if you lose your keys or your wallet... However, you do have to keep your Bluetooth on AND the tile app running all the time for it to work! Moreover, the battery in the tile only works for one year! Then you have to purchase another one for 30$!

Great product but you have to buy it all over once the battery is dead Thai is costly long term other brand has a replaceable battery.

The range of the tile is 15m out doors. Its useless.
