Tile - Find lost keys & phone App Reviews

The design of the app looks pretty good, and it is very intuitive to find what Im looking for. I like the new tip section a lot!

This tile was GREAT! for about 4 months. Then randomly, the tile REFUSED to sync properly to the app. It would just "beep bop beep" when I pressed the "e" on the tile. I uninstalled/re-installed the app, and *tried* to resync it but no luck. The issue is that you cannot DISCONNECT a tile from an account, you can only "hide" the tile or ""replace" the tile... Which is bizarre. Why cant i simply DELETE a tile from my account? After contacting "chat" tech support, they just sent me the canned response of "try to re-install the app". But the core issue was that I could not describe the error beep code as "beep bop beep" to them over their chat tech support. FINALLY, I got upset with the tile and ripped it open and reseated the battery, which fixed the issue. (Couldnt you guys give us the option of just pulling the battery?) It is now covered in duct tape. which makes it kind of cool-looking! At least it works!

This device has saved me so many times. I have a tile on my keychain and one in my purse. Even if you are good at keeping track of your things, there is always that inopportune moment when you need your keys or phone, and its not in its usual spot. I also love the simple design of it. I dont put anything on my keychain that is unnecessary or bulky. The tile has a pleasing and simple design. I highly recommend this product.

The phone part works but the watch part crashes! Update: they fixed it!

App functionality is great, but the startup sound blares at max volume after launching the app ignoring the volume setting and do not disturb mode.

If youre still under warranty, return and get your money back. The sound is so weak that they cannot be heard in the next room, so the audible sound is worthless. I put one in my car hoping it would help me find my car in the parking lot. Fat chance! It will tell me it last saw my car five days ago even though I just drove it a half hour earlier. I have one on the case for my blue tooth earpiece, and even though it is in my pocket, the app says that it has not seen it for five days. I have one on my keys which are also in my pocket and that is registering properly, so it is very erratic. In a day or so it will probably figure out where my car is and update. Like I said, good idea but does not work.

What a great idea and so far I have had no issues with implementation. Got it for my wife, tested it out on my phone and then transferred it to her phone. Then I shared it back to my phone so we can both see it as needed. Time will tell but so far I love it.

For lost keys its ok, except the ring which you can barely hear. But if you want to use the tile for locating your car it works like all other bluetooth trackers: it takes sometime to loose the signal once you leave your car and, as a result, the address is not precise. In addition it uses Apple mapping system which in many countries is not as good as Google map. In many circumstances it simply doesnt work. And finally if you have several tiles it drains your iphone battery. Conclusion: for car location i prefer a good specialised app like "Find my car" and i am waiting for a small tracker with gps.

Move to other solution, those people never deliver their material and just take your cash. And dont reply to your request of update ….move on to something else

When the tile is nearby it is marked "out of range". When it is far away, the app says it is nearby and gives me my GPS location

Not had it long (since Xmas) but works well so far!

I bought Tile with the purpose of finding lost things or locate things. That purpose turned pointless the moment you need to have your bluetooth active. Also, I havent come across anyone using the App in France yet, so having my Tile in range with someone elses bluetooth has a very little chance to happen.

This thing just saved my wallet!

You cant replace the batery. They hide this information to mislead you.

Never received my Tiles. Been over a year now that I ordered them. I bet these "Tiles" never worked nor existed.

Empty promises all the way. Payed 16! Month ago and still have not received anything except false information.
