Tile - Find lost keys & phone App Reviews

The map is usually wrong, it says that my keys are 12 miles away when in reality theyre right next to me, I can still make it ring but 90% of the time the map is completely wrong. If the map was correct all the time I would give this 5 stars. Other than that I like tile. PS: please fix the gps map problem.

Its either using GPS 100% of the time or it just leaves the solid indicator on all the time so I dont know if another app is using GPS and draining my battery. Its a deal breaker. If it was just doing get fencing and the outline indicator was active then all would be ok.

This is a great idea and it works well. Had already saved me a lot of time and aggravation!

Works for finding keys but finding you phone with the tile is a whole other story. Unless you already have the app open on your phone it will not work. Also the chat option under help doesnt work AND the link to the website for more support doesnt work either.... So basically its good for finding your keys thats it. Ill probably return this for the one from Samsung that I know works for a fact.

Its very useful when Im leaving to double check I have my keys with me, and I can do that without physically having to look for them now!

I use it to keep track of my fur babies (5). I can ping the tile attached to their collars and have them come from almost anywhere. Theres one in my purse on all of my key chains and other things that are important to me. I love it.

Best thing ever

I find it almost impossible to purchase replacement tiles. The batteries wear out and the unit must be replaced. However when I try to purchase replacement tiles, I get messages that I am unable to purchase. Not sure if they keep enough on stock or their batch production is small.

Simple and elegant interface. I lose my keys often and this device and app work flawlessly. I have never had any issues. I have used both tile and TrackR. Tile works ten times better without any connection issues. I cannot tell you how many times tile has saved my butt! We all know the feeling of the misplaced wallet! The gnawing in the gut "oh no!" feeling because I left the wallet in the car, left it in a coat or dropped into a hamper - FOUND. Misplaced keys and running late for work - FOUND. Knowing that I have a tile on my wallet and keys gives me INCREDIBLE peace of mind. The price is peanuts. Just get it!

Everything about this product is great except that the sound the tile makes is so dim that I have to be right near it to hear. Want the ability to increase the volume.

It works the way it says it should. But the ring tone is not loud enough and there is insufficient clues as to when you are getting closer or not. The map is useful if you left you lost thing elsewhere, but if its lost, say, in you house it is worthless. Would like to see it have a directional pointer to tell you in which direction the lost thing is.

Saw a commercial for this device/app and thought it was a great idea. However, like most people in regards to new products, I was a skeptical about it and how well it would work. It wasnt until I bumped into a friend at a computer store that we got to talking about Tile. We decided to purchase the four pack and split them taking two tiles each. I immediately attached one to my key ring and had one extra tile. I downloaded the app on both my iPhone and iPad. It was very easy to install and the tiles were real easy to activate ( Im someone who is not real good with computers, electronics, programming remotes, etc.). As for the extra tile, I was reading a review where a lady used a tile on her dogs collar. Great idea. It will be a big help at night keeping track of my black shih tzu who is almost blind and deaf. I no longer have an extra. Ive already used the app to find my keys twice and my phone once. Now if they just made a tile small enough to attach to my eyeglasses, it would be a perfect device/app.

Tile is an excellent product that I purchased for my familys keys, purse, wallet, car and bikes. I suggest everyone get one. The only reason I didnt give a full 5 Stars is because I think it would be even better if they could somehow expand the service to be incorporated with wireless carriers to maybe send the same location found messages back to tile owners so it wouldnt be fully relying on another person having the tile app open and near by to sense a tiles location. I dont know if this could be done using some sort of triangulation technology.
