Scam Service: A (would-be) Useful Product from a Useless Company

I caution all prospective buyers to steer clear of this company. Otherwise functioning Tiles are forcibly "expired" routinely, such that they cease to function completely and the company requires you "renew" your Tile with the purchase of a "newer, louder,... and better" version. This practice is an absolutely travesty to proper customer service and the facilitation of both customer loyalty and brand integrity. For no apparent reason (even company representatives cannot provide a coherent, sensible explanation), the company forces Tiles to stop operating and requires their customers purchase new units should they wish to continue using the service. In effect, this product becomes subscription-based, although the company blatantly advertises its products and services as one-time, subscription-free investments. Should you nevertheless decide to patronize this company, expect your purchase to become utterly useless within 6-12 months, at which time youll need to start over from scratch—no (logical) explanation provided, no negotiating.
