Software poor

It will only update location if I open the program, and even then it wont tell me where my keys are. Ive reformatted my iPhone. Ive reinstalled the software a bunch of times.
I contacted Tile and basically their response was, oh thats too bad. You can always update by buying a new Tile.
Poor service. Im now looking for a different company.
